This week I feel very privileged to be interviewing one of Bristol’s most colourful production Duo’s. Jeryl Wilton and Dan Wilberforce or Cutline as they are better known formed back in 2010 and have not looked back since. With a string of high profile remixes for artists such as Danny Byrd & Netsky, The Cascades, J Majik & Wickaman, The Qemists, Mindflow and Roll Deep, Cutline have seen releases on Hospital Records, Infrared, Mosquito, Ninja Tune and Never Say Die. They have also released several of their own tracks on various different labels and have even found the time to manage the output of their own label Not Safe for Work.

This week it is my pleasure to be interviewing Steve Cook, one of the producers behind UK based Clouded Vision. With releases on their own Clouded Vision imprint, Tiga’s Turbo Recordings and Mute Records the Essex duo made up of Steve Cook & Matt Walsh have released a number of records that seem to defy  the ‘labels’ attributed to modern music. In a world where music seems to be pigeon holed into one particular genre or movement, Clouded Vision seem to be looking toward perusing a slightly different and less formulated approach to their production.  This alternate approach has seen them remix tracks for Moby, The Invisible and We Have Band to name just a few.
